I don't know about you all, but the last few days I've been experiencing a lot of little different kind of glitches, from my post freezing up on me, to spacing between sentences/paragraphs being double lined, to backspacing not working properly, highlighting malfunctioning, and posts not saving properly and loosing them altogether.

My system, Windows 7, using Safari. Haven't checked to see if I run into the same issues with IE.

Clearing cache/history/cookies all the time and hasn't helped anything.

Has your computer run any updates the last few days? did you install anything new on your computer? Add any pluigins to your browser? Nothing on the site/server has changed for a while so I have no explanation for any issues suddenly cropping up...

Last regularly scheduled microsoft update was on the 23rd (for me). Other than that, nothing else has been updated or changed. Others have commented on some of these things happening with them too.

I have some of those problems, too. It started 2 or 3 days ago. The double lined spacing, some posts can`t be saved (I get a pink message), some posts can`t be edited, problems quoting.

Tried to find a pattern/reason- nothing so far...

I´m using my MacBook & Firefox, and didn`t change anything the last days.

Cache/history/cookies cleaning- done regularly.

I have had the same problems with editing, post freezing, and posting posts I wanted to delete,  I kicked my computer and hurt my foot and it is still happening occasionally, although not as bad. It must be finale angst we are all shaking while posting. smile

I can attach a link, but once I have I can't type anything to go along with it. Strange.

Issues this end too.

Mostly the double spacing, and problems quoting but odd other bits here and there like the others.

Using Firefox, on Windows 7 on my laptop.

I've been running into similar problems, too.

  • Double spacing
  • Posts that preview correctly get replaced by the previous posters reply
  • Posts freezing up during edit (especially if quote is involved)
  • inserting a pic works, but a new add-dialogue opens the moment it's added

System: Ubuntu 12.10/13.04, Firefox 20.0/Chromium 25.0.1364.160-0ubuntu3

Cache/history/cookies cleared, new extensions installed only after the problem first started

The universe loves irony.

This appears like it may be a firefox related issue

Just logged in with Chrome to see if it makes a difference.

The double spacing issue still seems to be on it too.

Not sure about the rest yet.

Thanks.

I seem to have some of the problems in Chrome too (yesterday I had at least) - specially when posting a quoted post.

Think I've traced the source of the problem, it could be a conflict with the software I used to automatically post to Twitter/FB/Tumblr when I add a new article to the site. HOW it would interfere with the forums I have no idea but I'll have to look into it further.

If you still experience the problems try clearing your browser cache before coming back and post as many details as you can
